Rough night for the Astros

Jul 29, 2009, 10:01 AM EDT

Yeah, I know they won, but their players were dropping like flies.
First Roy Oswalt had to leave with back trouble, and then his
replacement, Wesley Wright, had to be rushed to the hospital because “he was experiencing discomfort in the area around his appendix.” It was later downgraded to simple dehydration. Either way, I think we can probably excuse him now for walking five guys and giving up three runs on three hits.

In other news, fellow Astro LaTroy Hawkins has shingles.
Between all of this and Vicente Padilla’s swine flu, I think it’s high
time we quarantine every ballplayer from the State of Texas.
