Yes, Fielder should not have stormed outside of the Dodgers clubhouse. Fielder and the Brewers organization will make that a learning experience for the young (yes, sometimes immature) players. However, to purposefully hit a player, when winning by 13 runs and 2 outs nobody on in the top of the 9th, is assault with a deadly weapon. If you threw a baseball 90mph at a stranger on the street, you would be arrested. You would not be blamed for running after them, the cops would have let you off. I hope Torre and Mota get what they deserve. Can’t say it was not intentional when there was a pitcher warming up in the bullpen and Mota walked immediately off the mound and Torre never argued. Maybe some of the players in the Dodger’s organization need to take some of Manny’s female horomones so they can calm down.

Baseball needs to put a halt to all these intenional beanings. Sooner or later someone is going to nailed in the head and killed/ This will result in a law suit filed by the victims family. And when it happens the pitcher in question is going to have a hell of a time trying to prove it wasn’t premeditated. This of course is going to result in a first degree murder charge. And a black eye for baseball that they will never be able to recover from

Professionally, both players need some coaching here. Prince needs not to take law into his own hands. The pitcher, Mota, MLB should look into his record regarding hitting way too many batters and get this resolved before someone really gets hurt. As for fines, that’s up to the MLB investigators. From what I read, Mota is the instigator here and this must stop NOW
