I’ve been a Red Sox fan for over 50 years. I enjoy the game. When I was a kid, Ted Williams came out to my summer camp, wrapped his arms around me and taught me how to hit a baseball. I learned; not well, you understand, but I learned.
I hope the Yankees each year are a good team. I like it when people like Jeter come along. If the Yanks aren’t any good, where’s the fun?
It’s just a game, after all. Despite all the inane, mindless passion, I still try to see each Yankee-Red Sox series. It often doesn’t get any better than that.

You may be tall in height, but you are short in stature. You seem to believe that the team with the second highest payroll has the right to criticize the highest payroll team. What a hypocrite you are. You write like a blathering, peepee-eyed soresport, yet pronounce the Yankees as such. I have no problem with the Red Sox. It is their low-life crybaby fans that make me sick. The Yankees are the most successful sports franchise in history. That is a fact and has nothing to do with anyone’s allegiance. It has always been envy of that success that makes Red Sox fans losers.

I have been a red sox fan for 40 years, and I’m here to tell you that the 2009 team is way over rated, The pitching staff is awful and the hitting is even worse. thank god we can get rid of the dead wood on this team in 2010.

Sox fans just pissed that both ARod & Tex chose NY instead of Boston, every baseball player has dreamt of wearing the real pinstripes at some point. Some of you Sox fans used to call him ARoid but now that you have a couple of tained World Series wins thanks to Papi and Manny I don’t hear that much anymore. They will both make playoffs but who will be wild card is the question.

Red Sox still the best overall team in baseball. The Yanks spend so much money and buy all their wins. Besides that They all are cry babies….
