Stat of the day: NL East over last 20 games

Aug 9, 2009, 12:15 PM EST

Taken from Baseball Reference.

The Phillies haven’t exactly been running away and hiding in the National League East, going 3-7 since acquiring Cliff Lee, including consecutive losses to the Marlins this weekend.

Here’s a look at the division over the past 20 games:

Nationals: 13-7
Braves: 12-9
Marlins: 11-9
Phillies: 11-9
Mets: 8-12

This winning thing is fun and all, but if the Nationals aren’t careful, they will miss out on Bryce Harper.
