Andy and Ryan -- "Janks and Denks" was a function of 5:30AM and no coffee. After I realized it, though, it kind of made me laugh so I just kept it in there. Nobody's perfect.
Steve: If "commentating" on NBC isn't a real job, what does commentating on my commentating say about you?
Todd: his dream job isn't fluffing for the Backstreet Boys. Way too highbrow for him. He's, like, the assistant fluffer to the associate fluffer for 98 degrees.

Hey, sh** for brains Steve G, a contraction is a combination of two words...Athletics is one plural word (plural meaning more than one). The writer's comments are right.
Listen smart *ss... "A's" is a contraction for "Athletics"... What is so hard to understand about that? Maybe if you took an English class you wouldn't be stuck commentating on nbcsports.com and you would have a real job. Idiot.

The situation last night with Boston is why as a national league fan i hate the whole designated hitter business that lets pitchers hit batters as they never have to bat except in interleague play or the world series,it also lets players that cannot play their position any more stay around longer.I think that any pitcher that intentionally throws at a batter should be prosacuted for potential loss of career or life and if not then let them bat and get rid of the designated hitter all together.
