there was no reason for floppy to give a ridicules and embarassing interview. he proved nothing and if people want to believe him or disbelieve him there is nothing he did to change it! there are no facts to get straight.it was a denial with no facts why do they interview?
what does arod inability to live up to his stupid salary got to do with this? facts ,read what i wrote. all i said was he at least came clean and clean to what point i dont know, but at least he admitted using.
your point 2 i would agree as far as suspenions.

For the record, all 30 teams had players named in the Mitchell Report, including the Red Sox. Brendan Donnelly, on the Sox at the time, was the culprit.
What Mitchell was, in fact, guilty of is what Craig discusses above. He didn’t look for the international sources, and really that wasn’t his job. Baseball didn’t commission him this job to actually make any changes. He was hired simply to produce a report that would further the illusion that the book was closed and baseball was now clean.

I NEVER said you are haters because you are “pointing out the facts”. I said it because hop…like you…doesn’t know how to keep his/her little personal insulting comments to him/herself.
1. Who says you shouldn’t go there? Please show me where I said that. Please, GO THERE…if there are Red Sox players that are guilty of doing illegal PED’s, I want them off the team and out of baseball…period!
2. The rep from the PA was there and HE stated that the PA would not release the results, Papi just stated what they told him. Please get your facts straight before commenting.
I never have nor will I ever try and kid myself about players on the Red Sox doing PED’s. My stance…if ANYONE does illegal PED’s they should be banned for 1 full year; 2nd time they pop positive…kick them out of MLB for good…ANYONE!
By the way, a rod…pathetic! One of the most over rated pro sports players as told by MSNBC Sports!

As others have pointed out before, the reason many names were left off the report is the investigators based most of their information on Radomski, McNamee and the BALCO case. If players weren’t involved in any of those three (say Ramirez and Ortiz), then they most likely weren’t included in the Mitchell report.
As a yankee fan I would probably find a little glee in seeing MLB uncover some Mitchell/Red Sox conspiracy, but unfortunately there’s none to be found. Reason being, the investigators in the Mitchell report were utter idiots.
Within days of the release of the Mitchell Report, the two guys who wrote the Bonds book interviewed a bunch of trainers/coaches/etc asking them about the “investigation”. The trainers basically said the investigators looked around for boxes of steroids, conveniently labeled “STEROIDS” and if they didn’t find them, they assumed the clubhouse was clean.

1. it was strange that baseball would ask mitchell to do a report and not one red sox was on report.amazing but we shouldnt go there?
2. manny and big floppy names where not on the mitch report yet they did show up as testing positive. oh of course floppy denied the report knowing that regardless of what he said no one was releasing the results. amazing denial.
stop kidding your self your team was dirty just like most teams. only thing is even arod stood up for his mistake floppy just played denial card knowing that it was never going to be challenged. live in your phoney cheating nation.

Cust is 100% correct, the report is a joke and as more and more redsuk players get pointed out this report becomes more of a joke. What ticks me off is why no one in the media is asking Mr Mitchell how he missed Manny and Big Sloppy Ortiz in his report. He should be questioned on this joke of a report repeatedly and made to answer for it. But of course that would make too much sense so you wont see any of the so called sports writers question this as they should be. Instead i am going to read about Kate Hudson who has nothing to do with baseball.
