I realize people like Bobby V a whole lot, but he’s definitely a former manager who’s been away from MLB for a while.
Fresh blood ain’t always good, of course. Ask O’s fans about Dave Trembley, or Royals fans about Trey Hillman. But if I were a Nationals fan I’d probably be more excited about Hale than Bobby V. Then again, I’m not your average casual fan, so I’m hardly representative.
