Sure, Cain is having a very good (albeit lucky) season, but it’s undeniable that the Giants could use a halfway competent bat at first base. Fielder certainly exceeds that standard.
I guess the answer to Craig’s post is, “What 2 arms?” If one of them rhymes with “Mumgarner,” no deal. OTOH, I don’t know what 2 non-Madison arms the Brewers would be interested in.
