That MVP year was pretty great, and I never really paid attention to the Expos when they were still around. Not until they were terrible and MLB-owned and ready to move, drawing like 1000 fans a game or whatever.

Looking at his stats, though, he had better years as an Expo that didn’t win him an MVP, so that discounts that line of reasoning. Unless the Angels win the World Series on the back of his heroics or something sometime soon, I think once he’s eligible the Expos will win out.
