Justin Verlander was absolutely
bringing it during the decisive eighth inning of Saturday’s loss to the

He may have been throwing hard, but what does it matter if he can’t locate his fastball or it straightens out? Wouldn’t you rather have a pitcher who has movement on his fastball and can locate it where the batter can’t hit it? Sure its incredible he was throwing as hard as he was at that point, but he’s done it before; its old news. In the bigger picture he gave up the runs and the lead.
