I have one foul ball to my credit, at Wrigley Field, Mike Harkey pitching and Eddie Murray at the plate for the Mets. I was sitting in the upper deck behind home plate, right in line with the first-base foul line. In the first inning, Murray fouled one back right at me, but it came up just short of the upper deck. Next pitch was right to me (never mind that I used my skillet to try and catch it and had to scramble to pick it up), and the next pitch was fouled off directly over my head five rows back. I thought I was going to get 4 or 5 balls that day. Nothing came close the rest of the game.

Just got my first after 40 years of games. May weekday day game, about 16,000 people there, the entire row in front of me empty and the two of us were the only ones in our row. Check swing bounces on the stairs and basically comes to a rest in the row in front of me. Reach over and pick it up. Some guy asks me if I want to give it to his kid. HECK NO! I've been waiting 40 years for that ball!
