Somebody tell Pedroia , the cry baby , why he practices fielding a thousand ground balls a day . It’s so that you can field the bad hop grounders and still make the double-play . The why you make millions of dollars a season while guys like me sit home and watch in front of the boob tube.
As for the grounds keeper , please , he’s doing the best he can for the Bosox homers and doesn’t need a spoiled brat complaining to management to get him fired . The guy makes $ 13.50 an hour and works hard for the money so that prima donnas , like you Pedroia , can play a kids game and live like a King .

what a quote. Ive been a die hard Sox fan for 25 yrs and it was obvious from before the all star break this wasnt their year. Papelbon lost the game for them not the infield. Hats off to the Angels on a strong run. Beat the YANKEES!

It’s probably too much to hope teher’s more to his statement, and that Dustin actually did tip the cap to his opponents, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he didn’t; he had similar comments in a game Lackey beat the Sox in last year. This is what gripes me about Pedroia – great player; just maybe oughtta keep his mouth shut sometimes. He, and most of the Red Sox Nation I’ve encountered, just seem unable to give credit where credit’s due. I was amazed at the number of whining Sox fan e-mails after game 1. If you don’t expect an adventure in officiating with both “Cowboy” Joe West and BC Bucknor in the umpiring crew, you need to watch more baseball. The fact that the bad calls were liberally applied to bosth sides notwithstanding, it’s part of the game. Get over it. But I digress…
Sox fans, please, instead of whining that Pap blew it, or the infield sucks, or whatever the current whine might be, how about admitting you were, in the end, beaten by a better team today. Good night, Irene -we’ll see ya next year.
