I do not ever want to see guy pitch ever again after his non-performance in Boston. Hey John, guess you were just tanking it with the Sox. You better never have a complaint about them after pitching your way out. Suddenly, you go to St. Louis and rediscover your fastball to get N.L. hitters out. You and Brett Favre were cut from the same cloth so I wish you would both just GO AWAY.
Just think Mr. Smoltz, before 2009, you were one of my favorite people based on the 21 years you were with Atlanta. Even if you spend another 21 years with the Cardinals, I will make it a point to never see your pitch.

John Smoltz is one the great pitchers of our era. He has done it all as a starter, reliever and a closer. Who would not want him? He still has some gas left and the Crads should consider re-signing him.
