Obviously Tom has never seen Joba come out of the pen cause if he did he would know the only hot air is that from his fastball blowing by some hitter.

I was wondering about Mr. Robertson, as I had not heard that much about him. I did not realize his stats were better than halfway decent. No I do not have to ‘worry’ as much when Girardi brings him in. Thank you Mr. Gleeman for the update.

Joba, Joba, Joba…we’re bombarded with various people saying how GREAT he is. Mostly this is hot air from windbags. He’s yet to live up to the hype, perhaps he will, perhaps not. Yes, he’s had some good game, and he will again. The fact is, those who say he’s great apparently are watching someone else or it’s wishful thinking. He’s not consistant. Greatness doesn’t come about when his middle name could be “Full Count” It seems he’s always pitching to someone with a full count. “Joba Rules” – how quaint. I understand not burning him out but this isn’t headlines stuff. What’s next? Joba Cam? Until he proves to be a major league pitcher he’ll be cotton candy.

The Yankees have Hughes, Chamberlain, Robertson, Aceves, and Coke, all home-grown, in their bullpen (along with Rivera). Not bad for a minor league system that Red Sox fans are always saying have nothing in it. Wait until Jesus Montero and Austin Jackson come up next year. Let the good times roll!
