Boras is joke. He gets players way overpaid for their performance all for the sake of his own pocketbook, not for the love of the game. I would never hire him unless I had only a desire for money and not that game.

He’s an agent, not an ambassador of baseball. It’s his job to get his clients the best contract available to them which he generally does. Who cares if people hate him, you don’t see many players going to another agent.
