I like that photo of a few angels sitting in the dugout and looking out at the rain like a bunch of meerkats.
And I HATE meerkats.

And as far as an adequate window to get the game in I don’t know what weather maps they were watching but between Accuweather, the weather channel, and the NOAA website there never was going to be any windows by the afternoon.

It still would have been nice if they had just looked outside and called the game earlier. I had to drive up in heavy rain and traffic for 50 miles with just 10 more to go only to hear Mike Francessa finally say the game was cancelled. Would have been nice to not have to waste gas and tolls not to mention having to drive in that torrential downpour.
