Pedro would have been a wise choice for Game 3, not having to deal with Yankee “who’s your Daddy” chants. Cole deserves the start after his fantastic World Series last year. He has reason to be bitter. I know Pedro sure the hell would be if he was in this situation. Don’t understand Manuel at all.

I think Happ is better suited to shut down that line up. Look at his season. He’s just not that good out of the pen. His first play off start is bound to be shaky Plankton. I want nothing more than to see Pedro shut down the Yankees, but I have a feeling that we’ll see Happ before the series is over. To clean up after Pedro.

Pedro has been good but even at his best he had problems when facing the Yankees. This is a much stronger team than when they were his “daddy”.

Happ?? Are you kidding me?
Pedro has one start against LA, 7 ip 2h 0bb 0 runs
Happ has two playoff appearances this year:
1 start against the Rockies
3 ip 6h 2bb 3 runs
he also pitched 2/3 of an inning against the Dodgers and had 3 walks.
Pedro is the wiser choice.
