Philadelphia woman gets her World Series tickets without the sex

Oct 28, 2009, 3:10 PM EDT

Earlier this week a 43-year-old Philadelphia woman was arrested for allegedly trying to trade sex for World Series tickets. If you missed the story, here’s a video with all the details:

Police arrested her before she could make the sex-for-tickets swap, but it turns out that Susan Finkelstein will be going to Game 3 of the World Series anyway–with “no strings attached”–thanks to a local radio station.
So, let that be a lesson to all the kids out there: If you do something that makes you somewhat famous, however dumb or illegal or embarrassing, someone will probably reward you for it. I’m still shocked that the woman involved wasn’t Sweet Dee Reynolds.

Let’s not bring Sweet Dee into this…unless you wish to feel the wrath of the entire Paddy’s crew!
Seriously though, that whole “Ho for tickets” thing is an episode in itself.

Maybe this is a Philly thing, or a TV show I have no idea about, but the TV show reference means nothing to me…as for the “sex for tickets” woman – yeah, seems odd that folks get rewarded for getting arrested. That’s not a Philly thing, just seems to be another inconsistent message from everywhere. Must be tough to be a kid these days – the deeds don’t even closely reflect the words anymore.

    good for her

in the George Carlin proverb fits the woman walking her dog. A woman that you wouldn’t want to phuck anyway. Good for the first woman, i am glad that she got her tickets. The second one is a busy body that no one would have an interest in trading to go to the series.

She should have just offered to film the sex. Prostitution is not illegal if you film it and claim it is pornography.

    > an interest in trading to go to the series.
The first woman looked pretty beaten down. The second woman looked attractive and respectable.

Gee. Don’t the cops have anything better to do with taxpayer money!

  15. DaleinFL - Oct 28, 2009 at 8:10 PM

I see my tax money is hard at work. What the illegal immigrant who spend why more of my tax money takes the back seat to this harmless deed?

  16. DaleinFL - Oct 28, 2009 at 8:12 PM

I live in the USA where the illegal have more rights and cocaine dealers run the police departments,What a wast of tax payers money.

  17. flabbergasted - Oct 28, 2009 at 8:17 PM

Don’t the police have something better to do with their time – how many serious criminals where the police might actually have to take some risk or save some truly innocent person from harm were missed because they were sitting in a bar hoping to arrest this woman who just wanted to go to a game? How many women or men were sleeping with someone without explicitly stating it just so they’d be able to go to a game? This is utterly absurd!!!
