The real issue is playing your injured center fielder in the most important game of the season – the last. Batting will be copromised. Fielding will be compromised.

This is entirely wrong, as many others have pointed out. FOX even played the audio of comments from the home plate umpire meeting with Girardi after the incident. The ump stated that because it was an inside pitch he couldn’t be sure if Victorino presented to bunt, so he immediately checked with the third base ump. Negative. Replays confirmed it. It was ruled HBP all the way, as it should have been.

what idiot, thinks that was an attempt– their coaching staff did not even challenge it- Burnett was out of control, and even apologized to victorino– what game were you watching, I guess your a typical yakee fan. So far its a good series, get a clue.
