Or maybe a team like Washington, whose bullpen was so awful. Perhaps Rizzo looks at the saves and decides it&#039;s better to have a &quot;proven&quot; closer than last year&#039;s gaggle of misfits.
Either way, I sincerely would prefer NOT to see Rodney re-sign with Detroit. Granted, this is a team that dealt with Todd Jones&#039; own shakiness for years. So, in a way, we&#039;re used to it. But I&#039;d be much happier if the Tigers brought back Lyon, signed Putz to an incentive-laden deal and snagged somebody like Billy Wagner for a year or two.]]></description>
