Everything I’ve read says they want a right-handed bat. His bat plays much better in San Francisco, IMO. Although Delgado is also a left-handed hitter, his splits vs. LHP are very good — much better than Laroche’s. Baltimore is reportedly looking for a 1-year placeholder at 1B. Seems to me that Delgado to the Orioles for one year and LaRoche to the Giants for three would be more likely than the way you have it.
