If the playing field were level with the money situation I doubt that the Yenkees would have won 27 championships. It helps to have unlimited funds like the yankees do.

No cause to get nasty about this, you by-proxy rich fathead.
I actually enjoyed watching the Yankees win this year even though I live in Toronto because they were a good team and deserved to win. But Yankee fans with your attitude remind me that the imbalance in wealth is damaging the game, and that the same sort of salary cap that has ensured competitive balance in other sports is sooner or later going to be needed in MLB.

Let’s see. We won the World Series with our present rotation. We can wait a year and just pay the man, rather than bleed away our young talent in a trade. So, we pitch our way to our 28th championship with our rotation, and then acquire Doc to help us get our 29th.
