When I think of a hall of famer, I ask WHAT the player did that makes him stand out. His numbers are merely the compilation of an unusually long career. If he was a hall of famer, he would at least have had a handful of seasons where he would have wowed us. Even Ozzie Smith had a few of those. Are we really saying Vizquel and Smith are to be compared?
