I had, I realized, dreamed a few days ago that the Cardinals had tried to re-sign LaRue, but had run into obstacles.
How sad is that? I was dreaming about the freaking contract status of the Cardinals’ backup catcher! I don’t care how great his facial hair is, that’s ridiculous!
I swear I’m a healthier and more interesting person than that dream would suggest. Really, I swear I am.
