Bart,
Unless you're in a hostage situation that you failed to explain, no one's making you read, dude. The Internet's a big place; I'm sure there's a dark corner of it that will appreciate your charming ways.
Craig,
I'm a few years older than Danup, but my Lankford experience is very similar. Lankford was the first player whose entire career I followed closely, and he debuted in the year I bought my first Bill James book, so I always knew he was a better player than he got credit for being. Hall of Very Good indeed.

Wow. Why would anyone ever write a comment like this? What's the harm in MSNBC (NBC Sports, actually) giving a pretty funny story a wider audience? What's *really* bothering you, Bart? Tell us about your childhood...
And Craig's right on -- that's a better case than anyone has ever made for Morris. Or Rice. Or Sutter.
