The Yankees have a meeting that every team in MLB has but only the Yankees catch heat for it, there was NO press release about it and

Totally. All but on 1/2 of a point do I disagree, and that’s Girardi. He went all Marlins-NL on us in that ALCS game. And the Universe prefers his Greenspanspeak to a Tony or (heaven forbid) Ozzie. That Billy nonsense is a little much for Hal although Hank-(you-won’t-see-him-around-anymore) might go for another route, but no one wants the Walter Matthau look alike then or now
Nice references, too. Maybe you agonized a lttle over the Simpsons analogy, picking it over the “We doon’t need no stinking salary budget. The real comedy came in that Sporting News post.

Craig, the money fight comment was quite a cheap shot. Why don’t you do some critical analysis of the other billionaire owners who pocket their socialist revenue sharing money (that they get from the Yankees) for themselves and refuse to improve their teams?

And how does Girardi even have time to do this, when he’s apparently trying to save the Jets from themselves. (In all seriousness, I find it a bit goofy but in a good way that the Jets actually called the Yankees for advice on sliding and that Girardi went himself. And if he can make the Jets better, who know what else he can accomplish?)
