The blur that is Ken Rosenthal — really, you should see him motor around this place — is reporting that Carl Pavano is likely to accept arbitration from the Twins.
Pavano’s agent is reportedly working the Twins hard for a multi-year deal, and this would be a precursor to that. Not that the Twins would necessarily have any interest in such a thing.

The Twins? Cleveland traded him? Wow, apparently nothing about Pavano is worth remembering.

He was the Twins Game 3 starter in the ALDS, and actually held the Yankees down until ARod and Posada knocked him out.

Unless, you know, you like and/or follow baseball.

What can Twins napkin payroll scorekeepers expect Pavano’s arbitration figure to be?

Arbitration?, Arbitration?, I wouldn’t offer Carl Pavano a glass of water, much less anything to do with pay or a contract. Besides whoever he pitches for next year he should do it for free as he is still spending the Yankees money!! This is a prime example of revenue sharing the Yankees pay him and someone else deals with him as their problem, he is a complete joke as a pitcher!!!

He was paid about $4.3 last year. So…$5? $6?
To me, the semi-rational hatred Pavano provokes in certain Yankees fans is worth an extra $1-2mm per…

Bill@TDS, You’re going to pay this bum extra because Yankee fans dislike him, well then you can have him. Have your team offer him a wildly huge contract, that way he will be sure to be a complete BUST!!!!
