That’s strange, I polled the clubhouse during the second half of the season, and 50% felt like he should man up and play through the pain. Oops

Delcarmen really deserves to be taken to task for this. He had nothing to lose and everything to gain by communicating with his manager and the team doctors to see if there was anything wrong. What he accomplished was he really hurt the team (based on several performances in Sept) when he was out there and could have made what was a minor injury a major one meaning he would have missed more time.
