That will forever be the highlight of his career. And we’re not going to trade for Halladay so we can keep a mediocre pitcher in the lineup?!?!?!?! I’m sick of watching the spankees making all of these moves to improve their lineup and to increase their payroll while we sit on our hands acting like we’ll still be competitive if we don’t make a counter move…so frustrating as a Sox fan…

It fell apart when the Angels refused to part with Aybar.
It feels as if the “not approving an Arizona spring training” thing is a rumor that got legs. I’d be surprised to find out that Doc was willing to limit his potential earnings based on where a team worked out for six weeks a year.
