Then again, I would hazard a guess that the reason the market for Uggla &quot;hasn&#039;t developed&quot; is because other teams know that his impending arbitration eligibility will apply all the pressure to the cheapskate Marlins&#039; front office that they will need to make a much better deal next year sometime - like before Spring training begins. By then, the prospect of coughing up what an arbitrator thinks Danny Boy is worth for his three consecutive thirty homer seasons will be squeezing Jeffrey Loria&#039;s &lt;i&gt;huevos pericos&lt;/i&gt; like one of those feral pythons in which south Florida now abounds. If I were a GM looking for whatever it is that Uggla seems to bring me, I would just sit back and wait for Loria and Samson to start sweating bullets, then offer them a package of slightly &lt;i&gt;less&lt;/i&gt; &lt;b&gt;Exciting&lt;/b&gt; &lt;b&gt;Young&lt;/b&gt; &lt;b&gt;Prospects&lt;/b&gt; (EYP&#039;s) than what they would accept at the moment.
Patience, fellas. No one&#039;s ordering Colonel Pepper to stand and deliver....yet.]]></description>
