Nope, I’m posting from that hermetically sealed dystopia, Miami, otherwise known to those few of us left here who don’t become apoplectic and start gurgling uncontrollably at the mention of any buddy of Castro’s as Nuevo Macondo. That accounts for my facility with Spanish, without which I’d never be able to get the grass cut, the plumbing fixed, ask directions to a men’s room or make way through El Otono del Patriarca.
But what of that.
I’m actually waiting for a certificate of health that clears me of all prion-vectored sports brain diseases so that I can cross into the United States at the Golden Glades interchange and have myself a garlic crab dinner up at the Rustic Inn. It’s a three-hour visa, which ought to be plenty of time for it.

creativity points in the gator post, but a little over the top don’t cha think? are you posting from the cdc?
other than the detroit brass, who really knows the full extent of dombo’s financial constraints this offseason? they went cheap at ss, probably will add another cheap option in the bullpen. can’t remember last time Tigers gave a 3 year deal to a reliever…maybe Jones. If Lyon can get that, Rodney should expect similar. Neither were that good in Detroit.

Dave Dombrowski is beginning to behave like he might have contracted the same amoeba-vectored disease, Atrofia pecuniaria, that was first diagnosed by Aureliano Buendia at the Clinica nacional para el estudio de programas monetarios contraproducentes in Caracas recently, and which seems to have infected his successor, Larry Beinfest, about five years ago down here in Macondo. There are similar prion-vectored brain diseases, but at least you can see an amoeba with an ordinary microscope.
