Absolutely, unequivocally apodictic statement, Dan. Whenever I get to Chicago, I generally drive directly from O'Hare or Midway to the one on Lincoln (my old haunts from my University of Chicago days; I don't want to say how long ago that was but there was still a chain reaction going on under the courtyard) even before I go to the hotel. I immediately order myself a personal sized stuffed spinach special with extra veggies, and that takes godlike discipline - I mean, not to order a large one. There is also a Giordano's much closer, in Orlando - two, in fact - and I have been known to be stricken with a jones at nine AM and drive north for three and a half hours for lunch. Unfortunately, they haven't spread down to the Miami area yet. Probably still lobbying to get the county to build them a restaurant with taxpayer money, for which, of course, there is recent precedent.
The difference is that in Giordano's case, I would support such an expenditure.

Well, then, let's just feed him teff, quinoa and spelt instead of Reese's peanut butter cups. He should be fine. At least we will have gotten him out of the way of Chicago pizzas. Dear Buddha, aside from the fact that those things at least taste so much better than those horsemeat and velveeta* horrors they serve in Philadelphia, the levels of saturated fat are at least as high, if not worse - even for the stuffed spinach specials at Giordano's.
*Did a little research. It isn't Wiz after all. Too dangerous. The cans can tumble onto the griddles and explode in the fancier places, and they can be detonated by leaky microwaves everywhere else.
