He’s a force against LHP, something the Reds have lacked for a while. I thought that a Gomes/Dickerson platoon made a lot of sense, especially given Dickerson’s sometimes inability to stay healthy.
So of course they non-tendered him. On the Smart/Not Smart scale, this one veers toward Not Smart.
