I think Dellums is channeling his past, when he was an influential congressman. Aside from the real problems of eminent domain having to be invoked, there are also the issue of the Raider-centric city council that refused to budge on anything related to the A’s just a few years ago, leading to Lew Wolfe’s current “anywhere but Oakland” position.
Besides, by the time anything would be agreed to as far as an Oakland stadium, stimulus money would be long gone.

I agree, it looks like the city of Oakland is just playing out the string so that nobody can accuse them of not making every effort to keep the A’s in town.
On an unrelated note, has anyone else been experiencing browser crashes when trying to access CTB from a windows7 phone? I was practically in hibernation throughout the whole Winter Meetings and just had a chance to catch up today when work was slow.
