i would give up Pelfrey or Maine, Castillo, Pagan, and any minor leaguer they want aside from Ike Davis and Josh Thole. I would toss in 4mil also towards Castillos contract. I would then no go after Jason Bay, and get DeRosa to fill in the outfield.

The Reds are, at least, young, talented and exciting whereas the Mets are a bunch of over-paid, bloated, under performing losers. If N.Y. were to somehow get Arroyo, they’d have to give up a lot. He may not be Halladay or Lee but Arroyo’s stats speak for themselves.
