1. &quot;if he&#039;s healthy, a guy that could pitch 200 innings for them&quot; - sure it may be 150 runs and 300 hits later, but a healthy 30-yr old guy could certainly pitch this many innings for a team that has him under contract.
2. &quot;very good control&quot; - For major league batters to be able to get nearly 1,400 hits and collectively hit over .300 against someone, it goes without saying they must be able to hurl the ball repeatedly over the plate, at least the fat part.
3. &quot;He&#039;s a contact-type pitcher&quot; - see #2 above.
With this type of ability, all the character stuff is simply a bonus... &quot;as long as he&#039;s healthy&quot;.]]></description>
