Quote of the day: Aardsma on Bradley trade

Dec 20, 2009, 10:29 AM EST

Milton Bradley headshot 2.jpg“As long as he plays the right way, comes to spring training ready to
work and ready to be part of the team that we have–good guys put their
nose to the ground and bust their butts–we’ll take anybody.”

“It’s good to have a power left-handed bat (in) Safeco (Field). His
ability never has been the question. It’s the locker room-type stuff.
As long as we figure that out, awesome.”

- Mariners’ closer David Aardsma comments on Friday’s acquisition of Milton Bradley from the Cubs.

That is the way to welcome a problem player. Love and understanding

Aardsma left out one tidbit: Mama Bradley

David Aardsma – you’re no kind of team leader, you’re just a lucky guy with a good arm and exactly one good season under your belt. You broke into the bigs in 2004 and you haven’t been with the same team for 2 years in a row yet. From 2007-2008 you pitched 80 MLB innings worth of 6.00 ERA and 1.73 WHIP. Your only distinction in baseball is that you are first in any alphabetical list of players. You’ve just unintentionally offended a guy who’s about to be your teammate – please stop talking.

Message for the site– This quote has been contested by Aardsma and the publication has publicly apologized to him, admitting they misrepresented what he said.
Aardsma did say the first quote, which he said he would say about anyone. And had already called Bradley and welcomed him to the team before he was wrongly quoted.
Again, this is a misquote– some bonehead trying to stir up controversy to get some attention (like posting it here gave him).
MLB.com even has a story on the apology to Aardsma.
(So yeah, Eat a Peach, relax… Aardsma wasn’t spouting off, and he was actually being interviewed for a story on King Felix.)

A daily multivitamin will help give selenium, zinc and folic acid – trace nutrients that are important for optimal sperm production and function. you can also take Sperm Pills for increasing sperm volume and production, if you’re going to try a pill for increasing your male potency i recommend making an attempt Spermomax
