Since I’ve moved to California I’m not just an A’s fan, but also an ambassador for the uniquely Californian treats that keep people here despite all the nonsense.
Given that it’s Christmas and you are a fan of brown liquor I offer you Germain-Robin Shareholder’s Reserve Brandy, distilled in Ukiah. Dollar for dollar about twice as good as French stuff, meaning the Shareholder’s Reserve is under $ 100 and much better than XO.
That’s a holiday tradition I can get behind.
