Sox extend Lowell through 2012!

Dec 30, 2009, 10:30 AM EDT

No, not that one. The other one:

The Boston Red Sox and Lowell (MA) Spinners today announced the
extension of their Player Development Contract (PDC) for an additional
two years. The extension keeps the Red Sox New York-Penn League
Short-Season Single-A affiliate in Lowell through the 2012 season.

Oh, don’t look at me like that. If you weren’t hungry for some baseball news you wouldn’t clicked in the first place.

For Lowell being such an ugly city, Lelacheur Park is a wonderful place to see a game.

Lowell is the birthplace of Jack Kerouac. For that reason alone, it is more attractive than Lawrence. Who did Lawrence ever produce – a few marginal transcendentalists? Big deal.

That’s like trying to decide who is the more attractive Olsen Twin. There is no correct answer, only wrong ones.
