Padres’ General Manager Jed Hoyer on the incessant Adrian Gonzalez speculation:
“There’s certainly been a lot of interest. A number of teams have
inquired about him. I think we’re obviously willing to listen on
anything, but he’s a great player, he fits our team, he fits our
payroll structure very well. So he’s certainly not a player
we’re looking to move. I think that’s been the way we’ve addressed it
all winter. Teams have inquired, but we’ve certainly said the same
thing over and over: He’s not a player we’re looking to move.”
Not that this will stop Red Sox fans from assuming that Hoyer is duty bound to trade his best player to Boston.

Jed!! For the good of your team and fans. Do not trade A-Gon to anyone!! He put fans in the stands. If he want to go, that is a different story.
But he is playing a dream (S.D. native). And so so few of us ever get to do this. He will stay for a long long time. And it will be worth it for all who are in San Diego.
PS. I am a big big Red Sox fan.
Also I want to see good player all over BB.
More fun this way!!!
