I watched the news conference encore and I believe the Mets
did good on this signing. I was impressed with Jason Bay and his response to why it took so long to sign, he was in Canada, one agent was in Colorado, another in LA, Wilpon was somewhere, Omar was in DR, so Craig I guess you were wrong on alot of the stuff you posted, I guess you were too busy trying to unload Derek Lowe of your beloved Braves. Also, Bay said Boston did not seem to be as interested in him returning,Check out this lineup:
Reyes
Castillo
Beltran
Wright
Bay
Francoer- Craigs Guy
Delgado/ Murphy
Catcher-(Molina when he realizes the Mets are only team interested)
Pitcher
Omar will pick up his pitching on the cheap and the Mets will compete for the wild card, I think Phillies are the team to beat
(it killed me to say that, but then i remember the world series)
in the east with Florida also in the mix with the Mets.
Craig, I hope you get stuck with the Lowe contract for the next three years and a fourth place finish or if the Nats compete
maybe fifth.
