Crud, I was using a list with the players “old teams” so some of those that I pointed out are not correct. But, the fact that Pettitte’s was 15th highest still holds.

Ok, I’ll bite. The Yankees signed their own guy, Pettitte to return for 11.5 million. That’s the 15th largest contract (in total dollars) given out this off season. Some teams that have given out large contracts this offseason, St. Louis, Boston, Seattle, Milwaukee,Philadelphia, Chicago Cubs, Houston, Washington, Texas, Detroit, Colorado, Toronto, and Atlanta.

It must be noted how Frank McCourt and his soon to be exwife are destroying the L.A.Dodgers. With no attempt to sign any quality players this team will be the laughing stock of the National League.The best part of this story is that ticket prices art being raised by 3 dollars a seat in some areas and the parking will still be only $15 per car.No pitching and only three outfielders that can hit, I say look out Phillies try not to laugh too much when you play them!
