What is up with all these Designated Hitters having tons of pride and not wanting to accept a strictly DH role? Look, you’re old, slow, play awful defense but you can still swing it. Get over yourself. A team is willing to pay you multiple millions to strictly hit in a very hitter-friendly ballpark. Dye and Vlad should consider themselves lucky to even get a sniff from the Rangers especially with all the young bucks on their roster.
