Well, the NY tabloids are happy. I bet they manage to put Jeter and bride on the cover about 30 times over the next year.
And with any luck, this will be, from start to finish, a happy story. Which given what usually runs on the Post and Daily News will be a welcome change.

I don’t see how a guy like Derek Jeter can land a lady like this. I mean sure, he’s a 5-time world champion, almost has 3000 hits, can play shortstop at the big league level like no tomorrow, seems like a nice guy, has some good looks to him, but other than that, what a bum.
(So jealous of his life).

who is this a*shole calcattera. he is very annoying and very stupid. figures he has a blog. probably tried out for the mtv italian jersey shore show and didn’t make it. which is really bad since that show is the armpit of television.
Anyway, Derek Jeter has hos faults, believe it or not. I know a few of them. But Derek Jeter is the greatest athlete with the most class,generosity and kindness that ever played professional sports.
There should be a Jeter 101 class in every 4th grade class in the country to teach our kids the right way to live. Amen and god bless derek jeter.

I know my first remark was lame, however at least I didn’t go practically all the way back to the Koufax era.
But I do love the new parlor game- scroll down slowly and “Guess the Tag”.
Now I’ll be quiet and wait for the 412 posts spiked with indignant comments because of the Jeter headline and references to “The Ambiguously Gay Duo”.

Awesome, so now Joe Girardi has someone to give flowers to next offseason when Jeter signs his 50 year, 4 billion dollar contract that evolves from player to coach to mananger to GM to owner. I already can’t wait for the “Yanks to be paying Jeter until 2061!” posts on ESPN.
