Delgado not going to Toronto

Jan 13, 2010, 4:30 PM EDT

Yesterday’s report that Carlos Delgado wasn’t getting around very well led FanHouse’s Ed Price to speculate that Toronto could be a possible landing pad for him. Not gonna happen, says MLB.com’s Jordan Bastian.  The Blue Jays are not interested.

If the guy can’t play defense, there aren’t many other options for him. Could this be the end of Carlos?

Even if you can’t move / you play first base / I seen Hurt and Papi do it so I know its the case

It wold be a great PR move for Blue Jays, but unfortunately, they have no clue what direction they are going right now.

Delgado can still rake so he’d be a terrific pickup for almost any small market AL team.
