I’m beginning to think that there is no way one orginization, in this day and age could be so damned disfuncional as the Mets seem to be. I’m thinking more along the lines of, This team is too far stretched financially and besides the bay signing they only have enough money left over to pick the bones of the leftover scrap players. Which of course they don’t want to speak about.. I figure the Mets to make the most moves in the near future to sign more players. That is if I’m correct and the team isn’t ran by a bunch of morons.

Khan wasn’t an experienced starship captain. He was from 20th (or 21st) century Earth, spent a few days on the Enterprise after waking up from hibernation, and then spent 20 years on Ceti Alpha 5 or whatever it was. Him and his cronies at the controls of the Reliant were like you or I jumping to the helm of an aircraft carrier and thinking we could raise some hell.

I wish they HAD a Genesis device and could use it on the entire franchise. They need it. Blast the whole franchise and start over.
Any chance MLB can contract the Mets and get the Rays or someone to move into Citi Field? This is going to turn out as badly as the Bobby “Hit The Ball With Your Wallet” Bonilla days. All they need to do is sign Vince Coleman, Kevin Appier and a few other guys and then we’re cooking…
At least NASCAR season starts soon.
