Jeter was going to say that he was in the best shape of his life but his agent, business manager, publicist and life coach decided that they didn’t want to get all edgy.

Thrilling. They should have asked him what he thought of Hideki Matsui’s performance in the WS and whether he’d like to still have him as a teammate. Repeat for Johnny Damon.
