The doctor who performed the meatball surgery on Curt Schilling’s ankle in 2004 which led to the bloody sock has had his license suspended and is under investigation for . . . something.
Unauthorized possession of stage blood? Complicity to overacting? Accessory to second degree myth-making?

The part about him going 75mph in a 65mph zone…
Was he holding down the traffic?

A six year old DUI arrest, TFA didn’t say conviction, doesn’t seem like a pull-your-license-to-practice-medicine offense. There has to be more here.

Here we go with the “See, it proves it was fake!” bullsh**. I’m no fan of Schilling the attention whore blowhard, but he was a hell of a pitcher in his day, and no one has yet offered PROOF that the bloody sock wasn’t really bloody. I hope this article was just playing to Yankee fan paranoia and revisionism.

Could it possibly be the dispensing of acting lessons without a prescription?, or possibly assisting in the feigning of injury?

They’re still not over blowing a 3-0 lead in the 2004 ALCS. That’s all.

That, and they think all the melodramatic “back from the brink, playing with pain, etc.” stuff is their private preserve. Sometimes I think Yankee fans aren’t happy unless they’re miserable–about something. Perhaps being the defending World Champions isn’t enough for them.

Wouldn’t it be a pisser if he were suspended for buying Curt Schilling his subscription to The American Spectator?

Sure it’s enough, .. for now.
