		<description><![CDATA[I disagree. Jon Niese still has to earn the spot, mind you, but I&#039;d rather bank on the younger, cheaper left-hander. Not saying Oliver Perez is better, but if he&#039;s healthy, he&#039;ll pitch because of the contract. So it comes down to Maine vs. Marquis. It&#039;s a legitimate argument, although Maine costs $3.3 million this season while Marquis is making around $15 mil. guaranteed over the two-year deal.
Besides, I&#039;m wondering how Castillo at second base would affect Marquis&#039; numbers. We all saw what it did to Pelfrey. Not sure he&#039;d have the results in New York.]]></description>
