Another commenter on HBT has Drew Barrymore under contract, but I could segue to a discussion of Drew Berrymore, the German-born pornstar who looks nothing like Drew Barrymore the way, say, Mary Carey looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger. If that will keep you for a while, you could look her up on Google (which sounds vaguely suggestive anyway) – but I somehow doubt that Aaron would appreciate me posting a link to the Vivid Video web site after I took him to task yesterday for reprinting tawdry and irrelevant information in a sports blog. And in a way, it’s a shame that porn has gone mainstream, more or less, because if the actors (and I use that term advisedly) still had to wear those little black masks they used to wear in the old classic black and white 8 millimeter films, some of these unsigned free agents could put their road experience to good use and make some extra money while they wait for someone to offer them a minor league contract.

But what I was originally going to note was that I was just reading about the McCarthy (Joe, not Cormac) era witch hunts in the blog directly above this one, then scroll down one parsec and find a column about Curt Schilling, another right wing hydrocephalic whose bloody sock is looking more and more akin by the day to Tailgunner Joe’s photos behind the twin-50s of that torpedo bomber. I think there’s a certain poetry in that.

why does Schilling need help creating a fantasy world? He already lives in one where he is relevant and people still like him.

To be fair, it's "role playing," not "roll playing." Schilling is highly mockable now, but just imagine if he enjoyed juggling biscuits, dressing up croissants in doll's clothes, and playing shuffleboard with day-old doughnuts.
